Made appearances in local print media and on the television show, Showcase Minnesota. Highly experienced in training dozens of sushi enthusiasts. His teaching methods are effectively paced, comprehensive and enjoyable. Keving holds a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design -- he specializes in beautiful visual designs essential to the art of sushi and is able to effectively translate his methods and concepts to his classes. Classes are small & intimate with one on one hands on instruction.
You will learn how to make various basic rolls, cutting, & presentation and more. All equipment will be provided, but please bring your own sharp knives. If you would like to purchase a sashimi knife, please let me know asap.
Knives range between $60-$150 for a beginner's knife. Once the class is over you will be able to make your own sushi and have a beautiful platter to take home with you!
